Coach Education & Development:
I believe coaching is an impactful and effective way of learning, developing, building self-awareness, it can bring about positive change and support people’s lives as a whole, both professionally and privately. Coaching is also highly skilled, can involve a lot of unlearning as well as learning, can be challenging and feel unnatural at times (especially when learning something new), and we can always learn and develop ourselves in different ways with it.
I am passionate about coaching and I love working with coaches, which is why I have developed myself (and am continuously developing) to support my client’s and coaches. Specifically relevant to coach education, I am currently an ICF PCC, accredited ICF MCS (ACC & PCC), a Certified Mentor Coach (CMC) for ICF coach mentoring, completed ICF PCC Marker Assessor Training and ACC BARS.
My approach to coaching education and development is focused on the individual, meeting a coach where they are and co-creating the learning process with them. I believe in enhancing and focusing coaches to develop their skills, while respecting and appreciating their individual style. I also believe who we are as a coach and how we show up is relevant to coaching, and bringing in and building self-awareness, authenticity, and often looking at wellbeing, are all an important part of coaching.
As I am an ICF coach my approach incorporates ICF methodologies such as core competencies, markers, and approaches.
-
Focused on coaching skill to the ICF core competencies. Listening to your coaching and getting feedback.
-
Group coaching with a group of coaches on a specific topic, over a period of time.
-
Focused on how you are as a coach and explores how you operate as a coach.
-
Focused on a specific area, often a one-off longer focused sessions.
